At Embracce, we use design and engagement to drive civic impact. We collaborate with small businesses, architects, planners, developers, nonprofits, and government partners to shape projects and narratives that connect communities, build trust, and support more inclusive urban development.
Our work combines design thinking, public engagement, place-based storytelling, and digital strategy to help translate complex ideas into meaningful dialogue and action. From public walking tours to youth engagement games to accessible digital content, we believe in engagement and design as foundations for participating and belonging.
Whether we’re supporting affordable housing initiatives, translating policy into plain language, or designing public events, our goal is always the same: to support projects that make cities and communities more sustainable, just, and human.

M. Alejandra Fajardo – Designer | Facilitator | Urbanist
Hi, I’m Alejandra! A designer and facilitator, passionate about building better relationships between us and the places we live in and shape.
I founded Embracce to bridge the gap between communities, technical expertise and human-centred design. I have a background in architecture and urbanism, with experience in marketing design, engagement, and community outreach. I understand the challenge of aligning people with projects and businesses, and the opportunities engagement and design offer to build informed, respectful relationships over time.
My work lives at the intersection of design thinking, marketing and communications, placemaking, and civic engagement. I collaborate with mission-driven organizations to design content, experiences, and platforms that invite public participation and align stakeholders around a shared vision.
